Overview
The Brasshards Cupress 4GPT20 Gas Copper Press Fitting 20mm Equal Tee is compatible with all major copper press systems, including Viega, Connex Banninger B Press, and Kembla Kempress. Equal tee fittings like this are commonly used in plumbing setups such as tempering valve installations (drawing cold gas from the main line), ECV valve connections, or anywhere a branch line is needed to divert gas.

The 4GPT20 features a lip at each end of the fitting to help align the press areas precisely on the copper pipe and to provide additional sealing material when pressed. It includes a black HNBR O-ring, suitable for potable gas applications with a temperature range of -20°C to 110°C and a maximum pressure rating of 1600 kPa. The fitting uses a slug-fit design, staying in place on the pipe until the press tool is applied. Once pressed, it forms a permanent, gastight connection without deforming the internal pipe, ensuring uninterrupted gas flow.
