The DEKS Red Silicone Dektite roof flashing is used to seal roof penetrations such as vent pipes, chimneys, poles, or range-hood installations, preventing water leakage and maintaining a watertight seal for the roof. The product is suitable for various roof types, including metal and tiled roofs.
The DEKS roof flashing is made from high-temperature-resistant red silicone combined with an easily formable aluminium base, allowing it to conform closely to various roof profiles to create a secure and durable waterproof seal. With the ability to withstand continuous temperatures from -50°C to 200°C, it maintains stability and reliable performance even under direct heat or harsh outdoor conditions.
The specially designed silicone cone ensures tight contact with the flashed pipe, enhancing durability and weather resistance. Some models are equipped with additional grommet holes, suitable for solar applications such as PV panel systems or solar hot water units, allowing safe and tidy cable routing through the roof.
During installation, roof screws and silicone sealant are typically used for fixing. The silicone cone should be cut one size smaller than the pipe diameter to ensure a snug fit and effective waterproofing once installed.
