The DEKS roof flashing is made from flexible black EPDM rubber combined with an easily formable aluminium base, allowing it to conform closely to different roof profiles to create a secure and effective waterproof seal. Its specially designed cone ensures tight contact with the flashed pipe, enhancing durability and weather resistance.
Some models are designed with additional grommet holes suitable for solar applications such as PV panel systems or solar hot water systems, allowing safe and neat electrical cable routing through the roof.
During installations, roof screws and silicone sealant are typically used for fixing. The rubber cone should be cut one size smaller than the pipe diameter to ensure a tight fit when installed and to maintain effective waterproofing performance.
