The DEKS Tile Roof Flashing is a solution designed to seal and waterproof roof penetrations on tiled roofs, helping prevent leaks and maintain the durability of the roofing system.
The range includes three main base types, each suited to different installation conditions and functional requirements:
Nu-Lead lead base Dektite features a specially formulated acrylic coating and the unique thermo-baked finish preserves the ductility of the lead while preventing leaching into roofs, gutters, downpipes and the water tables in the soil. The flexible EPDM or high-temperature silicone cone can be custom-trimmed on site to fit various pipe sizes. This series is typically used on uneven or curved tiled roofs where high flexibility and close conformity are required.
Seldek aluminium base Dektite is made from 99.9% high-grade pure aluminium which will not stain or corrode roofing and gutter materials. This malleable aluminium base is lead free and enables the rainwater collection to be suitable for drinking purposes and free from lead poisoning. The aluminium base Dektite is commonly used as a tile roof flashing and is suitable for roof pitches between 0° and 45°, making it ideal for both flat and sloped roofing applications.
Rapid Flash self-adhesive Dektite is constructed from polymer rubber reinforced with aluminium mesh, allowing it to conform closely to roof surfaces. The fully adhesive base enables quick installation without sealants or mechanical fixings, reducing installation time by approximately 50% compared to traditional metal flashings. It is ideal for solar, antenna, vent, or exhaust penetrations. Some models feature four small grommets for electrical wiring or control cables. The lead-free adhesive base helps keep collected rainwater safe for domestic use and free from lead contamination.
All DEKS Tile Roof Flashing products are designed to provide consistent waterproof performance, withstand harsh weather conditions, and maintain a secure seal between roof surfaces and penetrations.
Depending on installation requirements, users can select lead, aluminium, or self-adhesive polymer bases to ensure long-term watertight integrity suited to various tile roof applications.
