DEKS DNL203RE 50-170mm Lead Base Red Silicon Dektite Tile Roof Flashing
Overview
The DEKS DNL203RE lead base Dektite is designed as a tile roof flashing featuring a flexible red silicone cone with a higher temperature rating compared to the more common black EPDM rubber counter parts. The cone can be custom-trimmed on site to suit roof penetrations ranging from 50 mm to 170 mm (2" – 7"), typically used for vent pipes, flue pipes, hot exhaust outlets, or other large roof penetrations on steep-pitched tile roofs.
The specially formulated Nulead grey primed acrylic coated lead base measures 450 mm × 600 mm, and the unique thermo-baked coating does not affect the lead’s malleability while preventing potential lead poisoning or leaching onto the roof and into gutters, downpipes, and the water tables in the soil.
The DEKS Nu-Lead base Dektite ranges of products are commonly used in areas where roof surfaces are uneven or curved and require high flexibility, strong conformity, and exceptional heat resistance. The ductility of the lead base material makes this product a preferred choice by roofers over aluminium or polymer-based alternatives.
