Deks DSCB08/115–125 EPDM Rubber Bush 8mm Thick for 115–125mm OD Pipe

Overview

The DEKS DSCB08/115–125 rubber bush is used with DEKS shear banded couplings when joining pipelines of dissimilar materials or when the pipe’s outside diameter is smaller than the nominal size of the coupling. The bush is 8 mm thick, 60 mm long, and has an outside diameter of 143 mm, and is suitable for pipes with an OD range of 115–125 mm.

The bush provides the additional thickness required to join dissimilar pipe materials and match the standard sizing of the shear banded coupling. The bush assists in distributing clamping forces from the stainless steel bands evenly onto the pipe surface, reducing the risk of misalignment. The more uniform contact interface helps maintain sealing performance, minimise vibration and limit movement caused by soil loads or surface loading in underground applications.

Deks shear banded couplings and the corresponding bushes are WSAA approved for use in Australia and are suitable for connecting dissimilar pipe materials in sewer, stormwater, wastewater, and related civil infrastructure systems.
