Deks DGB100BL Stainless Steel Gibault Coupling for DN100 OD 108–132mm Pipe

Overview

The DEKS SS Gibault DGB100BL is designed to connect and repair pressurised pipelines such as water supply lines, irrigation systems, and industrial applications, and is suitable for DN100 pipes with an outside diameter of 108–132 mm. Compared with shear banded couplings or standard pipe joiners, the Gibault coupling is constructed with a 316 stainless steel barrel with ductile iron end rings tightened by stainless steel bolts, making it suitable for pipeline systems with working pressures up to 16 bar.

The DEKS Gibault designs allow for connection with all types of pipe materials including ductile iron (DI), asbestos cement (AC), cast iron (CI), PVC, or steel pipes in pressure rated applications.

The EPDM rubber gasket located on top of the stainless steel barrel forms a water tight seal when tightened and allows for angular deflection to accommodate minor pipeline movement due to vibration, ground settlement, or surface loading. The product is WSAA approved for use in Australia and complies with the requirements of modern pressurised pipeline systems.
