Square Retrofit Roof Flashing

Square Retrofit Roof Flashing are sealing solution designed for roof penetrations such as water pipes, poles, chimneys, and rangehood flues, particularly at non-circular penetration points. It is suitable for a wide range of pipe sizes and includes stainless steel clips for retrofit applications.

The product is made from UV-rated black EPDM rubber with an aluminium base, for long-term reliability in Australia’s harsh outdoor conditions and is BAL rated under Australian building codes. The roof flashing rings are clearly marked and should always be cut down one size smaller than the penetration, thus providing a slug fit as the EPDM rubber material will stretch when pushed. The EPDM material can withstand temperatures from –50°C to 115°C, suitable for solar hot water systems, steam lines, or fireplace flues.

A key difference of the Square Retrofit range is the square-shaped cutting rings, instead of the typical round rings found in standard roof flashings. This structure provides a better sealing profile for non-circular penetrations, such as carport posts or rectangular columns.

The retrofit flashing can be split along the guide line, allowing it to wrap around existing penetrations during repair or replacement work. Stainless steel pinch clips are included to close the split section and support the flashing shape during installation. When not cut, the flashing can be installed as a standard roof flashing for new penetrations by sliding it over the top of the pipe. Roof screws and silicone sealant are commonly used during installation.

All Plumbing Online currently offers two Square Retrofit ranges: DEKS Dektite and APO Retrofit, both produced with equivalent functionality and sizing. You may refer to models DEKS DCS103BC and APO RS3 for comparison.
