Plumbing valves are commonly used to regular water flow, pressure and temperatures. Majority of the plumbing valves sold in Australia are required to be Watermark certified if they are in contact with portable water and a W logo can be found on the valve bodies. Other non Watermark approved valves are classified as general purpose valves and can be used in applications not involving portable water such as irrigation.
